Biography: Burcu Öztürk (pHD-c) currently works as a research associate in Ege University, Engineering Faculty, Food Engineering Department, Bornova-Izmir/Turkey. She finished her MSc in Food Engineering/Meat Technology in 2011. Her PhD dissertation is on “novel formulation approaches in poultry meat products”. Her research area mainly includes meat science and technology, meat quality, meat processing and development of healthier meat product formulations. She has published peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
