Biography: Diala I. Atiyat was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1989. She received the B.E. degree in engineering from the Al-Albayt University, Mafraq, Jordan, in 2012, and the Master degree in architectural engineering from the University of Jordan Amman, Jordan, in 2015. Now she is completing her PhD study in Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in architectural engineering. In 2014, she joined the Department of Architectural Engineering, University of Jordan, as a part time Lecturer. Since February 2016, she has been with the Department of Architectural Engineering, Al-Balqaa Applied University, where she was a lecturer. Her current research interests include architectural design, sustainability and conservation; with more than 13 published researches and many architectural conferences participation. She is a member of editorial board of Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Science Studies (JMESS), and she is one of the top 3% academia.edu researchers. She was the recipient of the Jordanian Engineers Association award for creativity in the academic field for young engineers in 2016.
