Biography: DR Francesco Molinaro is PH.D student and senior researcher at University of Siena, Department of Medical Sciences, Surgery and Neuroscience. He is a Surgeon Assistant and Responsible of Laparoscopic and Robotic Pediatric Surgery of the Department of Mother and Infants of Siena. From 16/06/2002 to 31/07/2016, he performed surgery as the first operator for a total of about 4000 surgical procedures, performing abdominal, thoracic, urological, general, neonatal surgery with open and mininvasive surgery (retroperitoneoscopy, Laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, robotics). The work was conducted both on an experimental and clinical level with Professor Messina, Director of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the Department of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine of the University of Siena. In particular, the Doctor has conducted research in the field of pathophysiology of the digestive system, dealing with Gastro-Esophageal Reflux in the Pediatric Age.
