Biography: Giuseppe Montevecchi is currently working as a researcher at Interdepartmental Research Centre for Agri-Food Biological Resources Improvement and Valorisation - BIOGEST-SITEIA, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. He has got Master’s degrees in ‘Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology’ and in ‘Herbal Techniques’ and a Doctoral degree in ‘Agricultural Science and Biotechnology’. His research topics are focused on modifications occurring during thermal processing of food, fast method for food contaminants determination, incorporation of nutraceuticals in baked goods, characterization of local varieties.
