Biography: Dr. Hafeez Ul Hassan Virk working as a general cardiovascular disease fellow at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Philadelphia, PA, US. He completed his undergraduate medical training at prestigious King Edward Medical University, Pakistan in 2011. He finished his internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai St Luke's West hospital, NY. He has been involved in different research projects at premier Mount Sinai hospital. He conducted research on anti-arrhythmic drugs, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, functional Mitral regurgitation, and Interventional treatment of pulmonary embolism. Clinically, he has been involved in the comprehensive managements of patients with coronary artery disease, rhythm disorder, advanced cardiomyopathies. He is a member of American college of cardiology (ACC), American heart association (AHA), Heart rhythm society (HRS), American medical association (AMA), American college of physicians (ACP) and European society of cardiology (ESC). He is also member of Royal college of United Kingdom (MRCP).
