Biography: Dr. M.V. Reddy obtained his Ph. D (2003) with highest honours in the area of Materials Science from ICMCB-CNRS)/ENSCPB, University of Bordeaux, France. From July 2003, he is working in National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. For the last 15 years, he has been working on the nano/submicron sized materials for Energy (cathodes, anodes, supercapacitors and solid electrolytes), including novel methods of synthesis ex: Molten salt method (top2 publication list (source: scopus), characterization and evaluation of the electrochemical properties. He has published around 170 papers in various international journals and one review paper and gave 66 talks at various conferences. His h-index; 51 and 10400 citations. He is serving as editorial advisory board member in “Materials Research Bulletin” and several other open access Journals. He served as a theme chair for Energy and Environment (2012) and session chair for Batteries, supercapacitors & Fuel cells (2012, 2014, and 2016) and materials for Environmental protection (2012) in International Conference of Young Researchers on Advanced Materials (ICYRAM-IUMRS). He trained many local high school/college and International exchange students and Ph.D students. His projects won many awards in national and international conferences. He won Outstanding Science Mentorship Award (2010 to 2016), from Ministry of Education, Singapore and Inspiring Research Mentor Award (2011 to 2018) from NUSHS.
