Examining malaria, helminthes co-infection with the objective of understanding disease interaction and pathogenesis and how these can influence vaccine development. 2. Biography: Marcelus U. Ajonina holds a PhD in Public Health from Charisma University, British West Indies, a Master degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of Buea, Cameroon. His research interests are geared towards control of infectious and non-communicable diseases including malaria, onchocerciasis, HIV/AIDS, hypertension etc, as well as reproductive health education. He has served as an administrator, researcher or lecturer in universities both home and abroad including Savannah State University, Saint Monica University, Catholic University Institute of the Diocese of Buea, Cameroon. He is currently the President and CEO of Meridian Global Education and Research Foundation (MGERF) and the Vice Chancellor of Meridian Global University, Cameroon.
