Biography: Dr. Pin-Der Duh received his Ph.D. from National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan, ROC in 1994. He became a Professor at Department of Food Science and Technology, Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science in 1998. Professor Duh has focused his research on Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals, Phytochemicals and Gene expression of Biological compounds. Until now he has authored and co-authored more than 70 original articles in scientific journals and authored 1 book chapter in edited book.. He also serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. He received two patents and many rewards and honors including Awards of Industry-Academy Cooperation, awarded by Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science in 2013-2016 and Gold Medal Award in 2017 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart.
