Research Interests: Pharmaceutical medicine/drug development, Formulation, CMC, drug delivery (Cocrystals, Nano & Microparticles, Lymphatic Drug Delivery, Solid & Liquid Orals), New & generic drug development (NDA, ANDA)], Specializing in Behavioral & Neuropharmacology (Brain Drug Delivery, neuropsychiatric disorders (Depression, Schizophrenia) and Anticancer Therapeutics.
Biography: Dr. Praveen Kandi is currently working as Associate director, CMC- formulation development at karuna Therapeutics Inc. Dr. Kandi is a passionate, accomplished and well recognized expert and leader in drug development for numerous generic ANDA’s and several NDA’s from early stage product and process development to late stage validation/ communalization for numerous debilitating ailments in CNS disorders , Epilepsy, Cancer, etc. Also currently holds master degree in molecular genetics and biochemistry from Georgia State University and a PHD in Pharmaceutical sciences drug delivery to the brain from Mercer University, Atlanta.
