Biography: Dr. Shuangli Mi is currently working as principal investigator in Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Peking University, Beijing, China. She got her postdoctoral training in University of Chicago to study the mechanisms for microRNAs regulation in acute leukemia and pharmacogenomics for personalized medicine. She is now focusing on the epigenetic roles of non-coding RNAs including miRNAs and lncRNAs in carcinogenesis and tumor progression and identify novel biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
