Research Interests: Biological data mining using Machine Learning techniques. Genomics, Transcriptomics and Proteomics Data Analysis. Single cell RNA data analysis by R & Python. Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) big data management & analysis. In silico Molecular modeling, drug designing virtual screening, and cheminformatics. In silico pharmacokinetics studies. Molecular dynamics and simulation studies. Modeling for wet lab experiments, biological systems (QSAR & QSPR regression modeling) using machine learning approaches. Biological tool & database development.
Biography: Dr. Yogesh Kumar is currently working as a Scientist in the department of Clinic for General and Visceral Surgery at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany. He holds Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Department of Metabolic & structural Biology at CSIR - Central Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, India during the year 2013-2019. He completed his masters in Bioinformatics from Department of Microbiology at Chaudhary Charan Singh University (Campus), Meerut, India during the year 2009-2011. Dr Yogesh Kumar holds Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Haryana, India during 2006-2009.
