Why effective fecal transplant to restore normal intestinal microbiota?
Abstract:
In some countries, such as USA, Canada, Australia, Israel, the Netherlands, boom on the use of fecal transplantation for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and other diseases. Previously, in the summer of 2013, according to the results of special investigations by the US FDA regulator has allowed physicians to use a fecal transplant (only as an experimental drug) for the treatment of clostridial infections (Clostridium difficile), or klostridioza, in cases when antibiotics are powerless. [1] Note here that Clostridium difficile is a major causative agentpseudomembranous colitis, Heavy infectious diseases of the rectum, which often occurs in the case of destruction or depletion of gut flora and weakened immunity. Other types of irritable bowel disease, dysbiosis and constipation also have a higher prevalence. Naturally, any normal person the question arises: how to relate to the treatment of fecal transplant, maybe it cheating?
