Biography: Andreza Francisco Martins currently working as a lecturer of microbiology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She got her Ph.D. from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS, Brazil in the Medicine: Medical Sciences (Clinical Medicine) department during the year 2010. She completed her Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sulin the department of Health Science during the year 2005. Since 2010 she is working as a clinical microbiology researcher in the laboratory acted as co-supervisor of 6 MSc students and one Ph.D. student in the area of clinical microbiology and bacterial resistance. She worked for 3 years in the clinical microbiology laboratory of a tertiary care hospital and coordinated the local infection control committee for 6 years.
