Biography: Erivelton G. Nepomuceno received the BSc degree from UFSJ and the PhD in Electrical Engineering from the UFMG (Brazil). From 2013 to 2014 he was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Intelligent Systems and Networks Group, Imperial College London. He is currently Associate Professor at UFSJ and leader of Control and Modelling Group (GCOM). His research interests include chaos, complex systems, computer arithmetic, interval arithmetic, system identification. He is Associate Editor of the IEEE Latin America Transactions and Journal of Biomedical Research and Reviews. He is member of Brazilian Association of Automatica and IEEE Circuit and Systems Society (IEEE CAS). Since 2018, he has been appointed as member of the Technical Committee on Nonlinear Circuits and Systems (TC-NCAS) of the IEEE CAS Society. He serves as reviewer for around 20 journals, and he has been awarded as Outstanding reviewer by the journal Chaos, Solitons and Fractals.
