Biography: Currently he is working as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at University Park Pennsylvania 16802, USA. His areas of qualification are biochemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Biology. His researches are mainly related to Biotechnology and Food Sciences and concern precisely the identification of microorganisms, the study of their metabolism in food fermentations and their impact on fermented food quality. This includes microbial starter strain screening for improvement of traditional food fermentation and agro-industrial applications. He was also involved in fundamental research, notably the study of molecular mechanisms that regulate the synthesis of certain bacterial enzymes involved in food fermentation.
