Biography: Currently he is working as a Head Junior Researcher for Medical RNA Biology at German Primate Center, Leibniz Institute for Primate Research, Germany and also a member of the Technology Platform “Neuro-Optogenetics”. He worked as a Scientist at the German Primate Center, Primate Genetics Laboratory (Focus on non-protein-coding RNA during viral infections), at the Academic Medical Center oft he University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (Göttingen, Germany). He is a Co-Founder of VD2Tec GmbH, Göttingen, Germany. Jens is concentrating on solutions for directed gene delivery in viral and non-viral vectors and functional analysis of non-protein coding RNAs.
