Biography: Joana Menezes Nunes is currently working as a Program Director at Hospital Privado de Alfena, Portugal. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Institute of Public Health at the University of Porto, Portugal. She completed her post-graduation in the department of Medicine at University of Porto, Portugal. She presented several posters/oral communications in national and international meetings and was distinguished with different international and national prizes. She published papers in journals with different impact factors and is an actual reviewer of the Portuguese indexed journal. She taught endocrinology to the 4th year medical students from Faculty of Medicine of Porto University, organizes conferences and meetings, participated in several national and international clinical investigations (ELIXA-EFC11319, HIPOS-ER, SWEET Pediatric Diabetes) and made volunteering work in nonprofit organizations.
