Biography: Presently, he is holding the position of University Scientist 1 and Professor 2 at the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics, College of Arts and Sciences, University of the Philippines Manila. Dr. Billones obtained his straight PhD in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines (Diliman) under the UP-ADMU-DLSU Science Consortium program, with full support from International Development Program of Australia. Under the sandwich PhD fellowship funded by IDP-Australia, he performed his dissertation at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University in Canberra Australia.
