Biography: Kyriaki Papadopoulou-Legbelou is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece (MD 1986, Pediatrics specialty 1988-1993, Ph.D in Pediatrics 2000). Her Ph.D was based on scientific research on cardiac evaluation of children suffering from b-thalassemia major. She has also received postgraduate training on Pediatric Cardiology, at the Cardiology Clinic of “Georgios Papanikolaou” General Hospital of Thessaloniki (1994) and Post-Doc training in Pediatric Cardiology at the “Onassis” Cardiac Surgery Center in Athens, Greece (2006). She has worked at the “Papageorgiou” General Hospital of Thessaloniki as a Consultant of Pediatrics (1999-2009) and at AUTH as a Lecturer in Pediatrics-Pediatric Cardiology (2009-2014). She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics-Pediatric Cardiology at  Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 4th Department of Pediatrics since 2014.
