Biography: Shima Shayanfar, Ph.D. is a Food Scientist at General Mills Inc. She has worked in various roles of quality assurance, research and development and project management in the Middle East, Germany, Belgium and the United States. She has published 1 book, 6 book chapters and several peer reviewed publications and has organized several symposia and technical workshops related to food safety and processing technologies in the United States and Europe.
