Research Interests: Use of immunoglobulin therapies across many disease states, The role of training and education as applied to nurses specifically with patients; Quality of life outcomes & burden of disease; Patient vice in decision making process for treatments.
Biography: Elyse Murphy has been involved with research in Immunology for over 35 years, with focus on Primary Immune Deficiency and Autoimmune Antibody Mediated Disease across many specialties. She has focused on understanding and improving patient outcomes through nurse education & research on QOL tools, patient feedback and objective measurements. She has published on tenets of educating nurses in PID and CIDP so that nurse can improve delivery of care. She heads a team of Immunology MSLs and nurse educators for CSL US Medical Affairs.
